Kunstendag voor Kinderen

Once again this year, GC de Boesdaalhoeve, GC de Moelie, GC de Muse and CC de Meent are joining forces for the “Arts Day for Children”. On that day, you can experience art with the whole family at the Boesdaalhoeve.

There is also a lovely theatre performance by Het WOLK. In PLAK (2+), Het WOLK pieces together its own little world. A fascinating woman takes you along into her sticky “everything‑can‑be‑glued‑together existence”. Nothing is ever truly broken, and anything that breaks can be glued back together. But this turns out not to be that easy with sticky, sweaty hands, a belly full of butterflies and a head that feels like it’s about to explode…

Fancy giving it a go yourself? In the creative workshops before and/or after the performance, you can cut, stick, experiment and let your imagination run wild. Also discover ‘PLAKKERS’, Het WOLK’s playful installation, where artists of all ages can get stuck in with sticking and creating.

An overview of the full programme can be found below.

Theatre performance ‘PLAK’ – Het WOLK

(1st performance at 11.00 am / 2nd performance at 3.00 pm)
Duration of the performance: 45 minutes

I cut, fix and stick, gluing everything together.

I fix it with ease – my glue’s always to hand!

There’s nothing I can’t make; I can take on the whole world. Nobody can break me; you’ve got to stand your ground.

Suddenly you cross my path, turning everything upside down.

The little lid I was still missing. But will it actually fit there …
